Needle and Thread: Stitching for Literacy
As a needlework designer, children's author, and avid reader and stitcher, I know the importance of literacy. Funk & Weber Designs, along with other needlework designers, is making a commitment to the Needle and Thread: Stitching for Literacy cause by designing bookmarks. Participating designers will donate to libraries, schools, or literacy programs a minimum of 10% of profits from the sale of Needle and Thread bookmark patterns. But it doesn't stop there. You and your customers can support literacy in your own community by taking part in the first annual Bookmark Challenge. Join independent needlework shops across the US in collecting hand-stitched bookmarks from your customers between March 20 and May 8. Then donate the bookmarks to your local library or school during Children’s Book Week, May 12-18, 2008. Be part of this national effort and make a difference in your corner of the world. Ordering
Orders can be placed directly with us by phone, mail, or e-mail. Price lists are available by mail or e-mail at your request.
Terms
Initial orders must be prepaid by check, money order, or credit card through PayPal (you do not need to have a PayPal account). We will extend net 30 terms upon approval and continued timely payments.
