Online Needlework Class

For graduates of Bracelet Basics & Beyond and others who have taken a class or purchased a pattern with complete bracelet instructions. This class presents decorative patterns only! Instructions for completing the bracelets (steps 2-4) are not provided here.

Provide your own materials

The emphasis of this class is on creating one-of-a-kind accessories, so you will choose your own fabrics and fibers. Having stash on hand will enable you to stitch as we go, but it's okay to wait and purchase materials later. Patterns are designed on 28-ct linens and evenweaves (14-ct Aida works, too), and use 6-strand floss, #8 pearl cotton, and various specialty fibers.

Class outline

Lesson 1: Cross stitch pattern: Exploring color.
Lesson 2: Composite pattern: Adapting bits and pieces.
Lesson 3: Blackwork pattern: The holbein stitch.
Lesson 4: Party pattern: Freeform stitches.

Class cost: $20 USD


After payment is finalized, you will be invited to join the Yahoo! bracelets group before the starting date.
